Great British Tennis Weekend in Pictures

There was a real buzz down at Totally Tennis’ indoor centre last Sunday, when on a beautiful sunny day, over eighty people picking up a racket and played tennis as part of the clubs Great British Tennis Weekend (GBTW) event held in the War Memorial Park.

There was lots to do for the participating players and lots to watch for all those non-players, with family time on all four outdoor courts where people could just pick up a racket and play. Indoors junior tennis courts were set up with mini nets and nine coaches entertained over forty children in the Munchkins session. There was a competition with t-shirts, pens and wristbands given away as prizes and the free bouncy slide was a hit with the children as was the face painting offered by Girls Squad players Sarah, Maria and their friends. A great big thank you must go to all the parents who baked and donated cakes and to Jayne Reid who run the cake/tea stall.

A great day was had by all and for those of you who missed out on all the fun come along to Totally Tennis’ next GBTW event to be held at Stratton Park in Kempshott on Sunday 22nd June from 1.30 – 4.00pm. For more information and to book your place click here
