Julia, the mother of Totally Tennis performance players Nick and Andrew and co-founder of the The Pink Place, was a great supporter of the club and her children have played at the indoor centre since they were very young. Nick is now one of the assistant coaches.
The Pink Place assists the well-being of those who have experienced or are experiencing breast cancer in the Basingstoke area and was founded in 2010 by Julia and her friend Janis Taylor, two local ladies who spotted the need for this kind of support in the Basingstoke area.
Totally Tennis, who have hosted a pink ladies tournament in the past, have donated two private individual tennis lessons to be raffled at the Catwalk Show. For more information about the charity or to donate a raffle prize for the Charity Catwalk Show, please visit www.thepinkplace.org.uk or their Facebook page here.
