Homegrown player to coach Jamie Jordan bids farewell to Totally Tennis today to continue his coaching career at Surbiton Tennis Club in Surrey.
Jordan, 25 started playing at the club at the age of ten, progressing through the squad programme and he was one of the first players to complete the Tennis Leaders Award whilst aged just fourteen. After leaving school Jordan joined the coaching team and has worked his way up the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) coaching qualification leader to become a level 4 Senior Club Coach teaching both juniors and adults.
With fellow coach Ben Jubin he twice won the Doubles Exhibition Match title beating Head Coach James McIntosh and Simon James. He has also represented the club in the Basingstoke and District Tennis Leagues in the adult teams.
Tennis Director Nigel Long said, “Jamie has been at Totally Tennis ever since he was a young player in squads and we wish him every success for the future now that he is moving on.”
