Tip 14: Hitting a Topspin Serve

A lot of players will use this for a 2nd serve. To hit a topspin serve you should place the ball slightly further to your left. You want to get the racket to drop and then accelerate up the back of the ball to create topspin.

Wrong – The racket is too far right and straight.

Correct – The racket is further over to the left and has slightly dropped.
