Frederick joined the coaching team on a part-time basis back in 2014, coaching at the indoor centre just doing two days a week alongside his role as Head Coach at a club in Dorchester. He made the move to coach full-time at Totally Tennis in February 2016 and now heads to the University of Bath where he will be coaching on the LPDC (Local Performance Development Centre) and the RPDC (Regional Performance Development Centre) teams. Once he has completed his LTA Level 4 senior performance coach qualification he will be named as Head of Performance for the 11 and under players.

Commenting on his time at Totally Tennis Frederick said, “I have really enjoyed my time at the club, everyone that I have ever worked with has been amazing from my colleagues on court to the receptionists, but the most enjoyable part of my journey has been the players and parents I have worked with who have all been amazing and great fun.”

“I‘ve enjoyed every moment and I’d just like to say a special thank you to the players that I have worked with week in, week out, you’ve all played a massive part in my career and we have all made big friendships along the way.” he added, “I will truly miss them all, and will never forget my time at Totally Tennis, I hope to see many of them at future tournaments.”

Frederick will now fly to Naples in Florida to meet up with Cooper Kirby at the Gomez Tennis Academy. He said, ” I am looking forward to spending time at the academy, not only will it be a nice to see how a former player is getting on but also a really great learning experience for myself to see how they manage and coach players abroad.

Good luck Jordan!
