Hampshire & IOW Winter Junior League 2018 – 2019

The Totally Tennis 10 and under Mixed team competed in the first match of the Hampshire & IOW Winter Junior League 2018 – 2019 against Portsmouth Tennis Centre yesterday.

The team, who were without a fourth player, of Nikesh Bomer and twins Gevin and Guhan Chendhilkumar travelled to Portsmouth last weekend. In the singles Guhan won 4-1, 4-0 but both Gevin and Nikesh lost 5-3, 1-4, 10-8 and 4-1, 4-0 respectively. In the doubles the twins lost 4-0, 4-0 and with the missing fourth player’s matches conceded the Portsmouth team won overall 4-2.

Other teams competing in the league are David Lloyd Southampton A, David Lloyd Southampton B, Winchester Racquets and Fitness and Portsmouth Tennis Academy. Totally Tennis’ next match is away at Portsmouth Tennis Academy on 30th September.

Happy 1st Blogiversary

Totally Tennis’ Serve and Volley: The Blog is a year old today! Where did that year go?!? I hope you have enjoyed all the news from the four Totally Tennis sites and the world of tennis as a whole. To celebrate this momentous occasion we are running a competition over on our Instagram and the lucky winner will receive an individual lesson with one of our coaches and a Totally Tennis t-shirt.
