On day four things reverted back to earlier in the week with the Hampshire team losing against North of Scotland 6 – 3 with only Houghton/McDowall winning three matches. The final day saw another 6 – 3 defeat against Cheshire that once against saw Houghton/McDowall as the only winning pair securing yet three more matches. The team from East of Scotland were declared the overall winners of the group with ten points and the Hampshire team finished in last place with just two points.

County Cup events give players the opportunity to represent their county in team competition in national/regional stages in various age groups from 9 and under to adult open events. Players are selected to play by their respective county and there are two separate County Cup competitions, one taking place in summer and one in winter.
