TT Tour | The Australian Open

The winners have been decided in the first TT Tour event of 2018, the Australian Open held at the indoor centre last weekend.

In the Red event 2017 champion Kevin Karjalainen was the winner and collected the maximum 1,000 Grand Slam points. William Durman was runner-up, Neel Chandrasekar was third, Lottie Blackwell fourth and Ayush Thondapu finished in fifth place. Harry Dolman picked up the maximum points in the Orange event with James Blackwell in second place and Caitlin Manley in third position.

Last years Orange champion Hayden Cummings won the Green event with Nikes Bomma in the runner-up spot, twins Gevin and Guhan Chendilkumar finishing third and fourth respectively and Jack Moria was in fifth place. Tinuke Adelakun won the Yellow competition and Luke Davies was second and Nathan Dolman was third overall.

The TT Tour is a competition programme for Totally Tennis players. There are seven events overall, six tournaments throughout the year and the Grand Finals in November. An up-to-date leaderboard will show each player’s rankings in each group. Points are awarded to the winner, runner-up and third/fourth place players for each event as well as additional points for entering. The Grand Slam events of the Australian Open (25/2), French Open 20/5), Wimbledon (24/6) and the US Open (16/9) offer higher points and all points will be added to each group leaderboard.
