Jubin said “Well done to Ben Hastings who won his first TT Tour final after coming close twice before in previous events.”

In the Orange event there were only three competitors with Alex Feast declared the overall winner, Tinkue Adelankun was the runner-up and Mohan Thondapu was third. Feast beat Adelankun 7-5, 7-4 and Thondapu 10-8, 7-3. Adelankun beat Thondapu 7-2, 7-4.

Jubin said “Despite the low number of the entries in the orange event, the players had some good matches again with lots of long rallies.

It was a good day for the Feast family when older brother Harry won the yellow ball event beating Travis Clayton and Alexi Studd 6-0 and 6-1 respectively. Clayton beat Studd 6-1 to finish as runner-up.

Jubin said “It was good to see all the familiar players again and some new faces. There was some really good tennis played and I hope all the players enjoyed competing in the Barcelona Open. I look forward to seeing everyone at the next event, the French Open on 25th May.”
